This is the first big game animal harvested with a Wildcat Bullet. This old mossy horn was shot on Nov.1 2004 with a 7mm STW and a Wildcat Bonded "Tuff n Nuff" bullet.
The bullet exited and was a flatbased ultra low drag weighing 145 grns.

This is an 80 4/8" pronghorn from last fall. The rifle used is a Kirby Allen-built Extreme Sporter chambered in 257 STW. A 100gr Bonded Core FBHP loaded to 3950 fps was used. One shot was taken from 200 yards. The bullet struck the chest and was located under the offside hide.
Kirby Allen took this Phantom Fallow at 500 yards in Colorado with one of his Extreme Sporters in the hot-rod 257 Allen Mag. The load used is a 156 gr ULD RBBT at 3265fps. The bullet penetrated over 28" before coming to rest under the hide on the right ham from the severe quartering shot.
Kirby Allen took this Whitetail in 2004. He scored 150" B&C as a 4x4. He is actually a 5x5 but his G-4s are hardly scorable. The rifle used is a 257 STW and 130 gr Bonded Core FBHP Wildcat bullets loaded to 3450 fps. The shot was at a bit over 300 yards and he was able to put the bullet in his throat patch at that range. He was standing right on a property line amd wanted to drop him instantly which is exactly what happened!
This is Kirby Allen's father with the first game taken with the 270 Allen Mag. The Ram was taken in heavy cover at 75 yards with the Wildcat 169.5 gr ULD RBBT loaded to 3250 fps. Not exactly long range but a severe test for this bullet at close range and the bullet performed great. The bullet created a 1/2" entrance hole and a 1" exit. The ram did not even twitch to the shot, simply folded on the spot.
Here is Kirby Allen with a Mouflon ram. He used his 270 Allen Mag chambered in one of his Extreme Sporters using the 169.5 gr ULD RBBT loaded to a mild 3250 fps. The initial shot was at 925 yards but a ranging issue resulted in a miss. At 610 yards with the ram facing nearly directly toward me the big 169.5 gr did a great job and stopped the ram within feet of the impact.

This a 50cal 550 grain lead tip bonded hunting bullet. It has a .030 jacket and was fired into test media. It expanded 2.7 times it's initial diameter and retained 94.3% of its weight. These bullets will be tested on African game in the near future.
